Photo Restoration

OpenRangeDigital offers a scanning service for slides, negatives and photos using the latest digital technology.

Many families have slide carousels sitting in closets or old photographs to which the original negatives are long lost. These may contain the only images of loved ones passed or cherished childhood or family memories. We can take these slides, negatives photographs and produce quality reproductions, in many cases far superior even to that of the original photo when it was first produced.

We start the process using very high resolution scans of your slides, black and white or colour photos or negatives. Once your slides, photos or negatives are scanned, they arethen safely stored and will be returned to you with your newly restored images. Please note that we make all the adjustments to the scanned digital images, your original slides, photos or negatives are never altered.

The scanned images will have any scratches, stains, spots, or cracks removed and we also enhance the photo by adjusting contrast, brightness and colour tones. We can also repair tears or reassemble torn photographs.

 In all cases, we print the photos, usually on 4x6 or 5x7 photo paper but we can print to any size requested. Our high resolution printers can produce images up to 44" wide by variable lengths. We also provide a CD containing the final repaired/restored images of your photographs so that you may share them with other family members.
